Narayana Vows To Redress Real Estate Developers’ Grievances

Vijayawada: Minister for Municipal Administration & Urban Development P Narayana on Friday promised full support to the builders and real estate developers and pointed out they are taking steps to redress their genuine grievances.

Inaugurating three-day Credai Vijayawada Property Show here, he said the government will take all measures to develop the real estate sector in the State and explained how they had issued orders for single window clearance. He alleged that during the five-year regime of YSRCP, the real estate sector was totally devastated. Further they are taking simplification of procedures by studying the regulations followed in 10 States.

The Minister said they announced certain relaxations on laying roads in layouts and handed over certain responsibilities to licensed surveyors without any permission for the construction of buildings within 15 meters. Stating that if real estate develops then the State will also get the benefit through various forms, he said the implementation of single window system for building constructions without going around office has been hailed in various circles. Thanking Credai for regularly holding property shows, he said such exhibitions create awareness among the prospective buyers and provide them an opportunity under one roof to choose property to buy along with finance options and interior decoration. Credai Vijayawada chapter president D Rambabu and general secretary V Sridhar, were present. Rambabu said as a goodwill gesture, they are giving to buyers a gift of two gold sovereigns. Credai treasurer T Vamsikrishna, show convenor K Raghuramand others were present. Among others, Vijayawada MP Keshineni Chinni, MLAs Gadde Ramamohan, Bode Prasad and others visited on the first day. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Minister for IT and Education Nara Lokesh, Housing Minister Kolusu Parthasarathy, Kollu Ravindra will attend the valedictory.
